Sole traders
One login, your firm, your logo. Start a stand-alone cert or pick up from a job when you use ClearDeck jobs.
ZipCert is electrical certificate software for UK electricians. Do EICRs, EICs and Minor Works on your phone — on site, offline — then send a branded PDF.
Phone walkthrough — illustrative only. No signup needed to watch or to view sample certificates.
ZipCert is for sole traders and small electrical firms who want certificates finished on site — not back at a Windows desk after the van is parked.
One login, your firm, your logo. Start a stand-alone cert or pick up from a job when you use ClearDeck jobs.
Add engineer seats when you need them. Same offline certs and branded PDF for every engineer on the plan.
Fill readings where the board is. Sync when you have signal. Download the PDF when the job is done.
Electricians who’ve already used it told us it was quick and easy. That’s soft feedback, not a star rating or paid review.
Basements, new builds, rural jobs: keep the EICR (or EIC / Minor Works) going on the phone. Readings and notes stay on the device, then sync when you’re back online.
No signal? The form stays editable. You are not stuck waiting for a Windows laptop to boot in the van.
When the phone has data again, ZipCert syncs the draft so the office and other seats can see it.
ZipCert helps you capture readings and produce the PDF. C1–C3 calls and competence stay with you — the app does not “decide” the inspection for you.
One electrical certificate app for the day-to-day paper you actually issue.
EICR, Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC), and Minor Works.
EV, Solar PV, fire alarm, emergency lighting, PAT and more — as shipped in the live app.
Open public sample certificates (fake client data) or the shorter /try/sample EICR — no signup.
When the certificate is ready, ZipCert produces a branded PDF you can send to the customer or the office. Optional firm logo on the letterhead; optional CPS / scheme brandmark you upload yourself if you have permission to use it.
Dictate notes on site instead of thumb-typing every observation.
Use a board photo to help fill circuit details where the product supports it — you can always edit the readings.
Built-in Point 5 checks help you catch incomplete items before you issue.
Solo is £15 a month or £150 a year (2 months free). Extra engineers £7 a month (£70 a year on yearly plans). No VAT added on these prices.
